If you call your normal vet, they can tell you how much over the phone.

Tiki, Tavi, Cody and CamieMotor Home Catshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16651108448042750552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861097998399076304.post-90273182945740511852007-12-28T10:12:00.000-08:002007-12-28T10:12:00.000-08:00You poor things, that sounds very terrible! The specialist we saw told us we could give him the Benadryl as long as it took until he was better, in addition to the antibiotics he was on. He's 15 lbs. They must be bitter because he would drool like crazy after we gave it to him.

Luf, MawForty Pawshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16415628551202920818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861097998399076304.post-43206391312696635202007-12-28T07:13:00.000-08:002007-12-28T07:13:00.000-08:00Hmm...I've never been car sick but I have really o...Hmm...I've never been car sick but I have really only been to the VET's office. Kaze was fine her whole way from D.C. home as a kitten. Chase is the expert traveler and he's only been sick once in his 7 years traveling. I'd just call the VET and maybe even a light tranq might make it easier for them?

LatteLZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18395326253362300647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861097998399076304.post-32465361670959196052007-12-28T07:05:00.000-08:002007-12-28T07:05:00.000-08:00Poor little Kavan.Sorry, we have no advice on meds...Poor little Kavan.
Sorry, we have no advice on meds like that. It werked ok, so it might werk ok for Kavan and Tara. The v-e-t told mommy to only give me 1/2 tablet, and i weigh 16 lbs, so you might want to talk to the v-e-t to find out how much to give Kavan 'cause he's littler than me.
MilesThe Meezers or Billyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05035027094894711341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861097998399076304.post-57267758038774317742007-12-28T05:32:00.000-08:002007-12-28T05:32:00.000-08:00Oh poor Kavan! I used to be very good in the car and sleep the whole way on my mommy or on the back seat but this holiday I had to stay in my cage because of all the gifts on the back seat (I eat ribbons and bows so I can't be near the gifts). So I cried gently most of the way, I cried less when my mommy kept her hand in the cage on my paws so she stayed that way for the 2h 1/2 to get there and back. She has been complaining of a pulled shoulder/arm muscle ever since. The previous cat my humans had would drool and have a panic cry for the shortest of car rides so his vet suggested he take half a gravol 30 minutes before a car ride so that he would be sleepy, it was of some help. Hope you don't mind taking pills!

Good luck on your trip back home Kavan and Tara, I will send lots of purrs and meezerly love!

Tamra

P.S.
