Lazin around

We've had a wonderfully lazy weekend. Mom's been so busy, she needed to just hang out with us. So we've watched movies, listened to music, gone outside to enjoy the nice weather. Its been great hangin' with Mom. Little Kavan has been a pest. He is feeling SOOO much better. His head tilt is almost gone, and he is running around like a banshee. Mom can still hear a little drainage in his throat, and a sneeze or two. But it is getting less and less. The squirts, however, have really exploded. Mom's started mixing in a bit of probiotic in his food. She bought him some Activia, but he wouldn't touch it.

While we've been lazin around, so much going on in the Cat Blogoshphere. Zeus just finished 24 hours of blogging and raised $330 green papers for the Human Society! Isn't that amazing?? And we are welcoming four new meezers to the Cat Blogosphere (there can never be too many meezers!). Congratulations Stella! As always, check out the Cat Blogosphere and Simply Siamese for the latest and greatest!

Tara I am really glad that Kavan is feeling much better now. I really am. I know he will be a pest but ear problems are painful - my human had to take a week off work once because of an ear infection and she felt dreadful for the poor little boy, as did I.

Love to you too Tara!Lazing is great! xx

We're glad that Kavan is feeling much better and being a little terror again. Have they put him on metronidazole (flagyl) to help with his squirts? Obi, Reno, and Sally had to be on it for 2 months to get over their poops. Their systems had gotten so out of wack from being sick for so long, and their poops kept being negative. So they were on flagyl for 2 months, which really SUX because it is NASTY tasting and it's very hard to get it into a cat. However, it can be formulated at an old fashioned pharmacy into various flavors like triple fish or tuna or chicken for an extra bit of green papers.

As for yogurt, Dorf also likes Orange Creme, Peach, and Blueberry, so your mom might try those flavors with Kavan.

Paw was pretty close to you. He was in San Jose.

And yup, don't worry if you lose all your teeth. You can still eat.

Lazy Sundays are the best. DKM finally spent the day at home today, bagging up snuggles and taking naps with us.

I'm glad Kavan is doing better, but sorry to hear about the squirts. I get a probiotic in my stinky goodness, and my humans think it helps to make me less stinky.
