I can't believe it! After a long drive (I only got to go out in my harness once), we finally got home. After checking out the house and supervising Mom and Dad unpacking, I finally started to relax. Mom and Dad left, I didn't think too much about it, I thought they went to get something to eat, and I was enjoying a moment by myself. It turned out to be my last. Dad sat down a PTU, and this noise came out of it! I heard Mom say Dad should take it up to the nursery, but Dad insisted I meet my new brother. I was not impressed. I did a little hissy when he first came out of his PTU. He was just into everything! Mom stayed with me and Dad played with this tiny, pathetic excuse for a meezer. He was just all over Dad, no pride! And he kept trying to get into my space! So I just backed up a bit, and watched from afar. Mom and Dad finally put him into the nursery, and I finally got some peace and Mom back to myself. Although I saw her sneak into the nursery a few times. With some of MY toys!
I supose Mom will insist on me posting pictures tomorrow. Right now, I'm heading to bed.....

OH, Tara! I can't wait to see pictures of your little brother. Just think you will get to boss him around. I hope you will learn to be a very good leader like Monica is.
Oh brother is right! Yer mom gave yer brother yer toys?! Hmmpft! Well, we guess it eventually gits better.
Yoo git a noo brofurr and lose yer toys all at the same time??? Sumfings not right here. But still, having a brofurr is fun,bet yoo'll soon like him.
Oh Tara, I hope you warm up to your little brother in time. I can't wait until I get a new littler brother or sister.
I look forward to seeing some photos of your new brother! Does he have a name yet?
This is so exciting!!! I can't wait to see the pictures of your new little brother. I think in time you will learn to love him.
Yeah! You will love him soon. I even hissed at Kaze when she came here and you know how much I love her now. What a great weekend for your family! I can't wait to meet your new brother.

Oh boy Tara, a little brofur for yoo to push around. Yoo will get yoor toys back, I did. Wait til they start putting his stinky sleeping blanket in yoor space, "so yoo can get used to his smell"! Hmph, I love Speedy, but he's still a stinky boy.~Sadie
Tara
It is going to be an adjustment, but I think you will be very happy with your new brofur once you two get to know each other.

Oh, Tara, we feel your pain. Mom's bean girl came to stay this weekend with 2 kitty cousins. they are playing with our toys and sleeping in our spots.
Ariel, Tocchet and Lemieux
You will grow to love him, we can't wait for pictures.
Oh Tara - I knows 'zaktly how you feel. I feeled that way when Miles showed up. You'll get usded to it soon enuf. But for now, hissing is a good fing to show him who's the boss - Sammy
adjustments are hard, change is hard.
We hope things get better.
Remember, you are the boss!
Oh Tara - we can't wait to see your brother. What is his name? We hope that you will love each other - who knows, you might really like having a little brother. We hope so!

We hissed at Kesey too when he showed up, but we got used to him and then decided we liked him, so everything's good now. Can't wait to meet your little brother!
Oh Princess Tara, I hope we get to see pictures of you AND your little brother. I'm kinda glad I'm an only kitty cause I don't have to share anything, but I think it would be nice to have a kitty to play with while my beans are at work.
We can't wait to meet your new brother. I hope you get along famously. My mommy has a little brother too and she said hissing is normal.
Good luck with your new brother, Tara! Has he got a name yet?
Well, I don't know if I should congratualte you or not, since you don't seem to be sure you want a brother. I love other kitties so I get excited, but I'm used to it.
You better start thinking about your lesson plans now though. You're gonna have to teach him lots of stuff he won't know about, and make sure he washes behind his ears, and knows how to hunt and stuff.
Hoo-Boy! I guess if you start out thinking of him as a new furry toy, maybe you will like him better. Good luck with the new bro!
I'm very excited with this news! Just think, you'll be able to train him!
Think of him as someone to boss around. And like Parker says, he's a furry toy in and of himself. As long as you get to train him, things will probably turn out okay. Jake and I can't wait to see photos and learn his name.

Trust me, lay down the ground rules now! It just gets harder the longer the new one is there, but then there are the bright spots, you now have someone to blame everything on! Happy destruction!
Mommy just told me I have to say something nice and that blaming the new furball isn't nice. Okay so here goes, um, um, um, congratulations?
Is that nice, Mommy?
She says it would be if I had the right attitude. Hmmmm, maybe Temptations would help.
I don't think it will be as bad as you're worried it will ... it will just take a little time, Tara.
But here's a hug anyway :::Tara:::
Getting used to a new brother can be hard at first. I think you will get to like him in time.
My condolences. It's all downhill from here.
