Meezer Monday

I'm still working on getting one of those birds! Mom still has to watch me closely, sometimes I get so excited I just have to try to jump on the fence. Sometimes she has to put me on the lead, other times she just stays right next to me. I get thrown inside if I try...sigh....but I got very close to a mourning dove today!

Dad is looking pretty good. He is up and around, and even went out with Mom for lunch on Sunday. The swelling is down, but he has a good shiner! And it also looks like he got too close to a sewing machine! He was so touched by all the comments from all the kitties (yes, he loves reading my blog!), and asked me to let all of you know how much it meant to him. So Mom is going back to work today, and she even has a fast trip to New York on Tuesday, coming back late on Wednesday so she can take Dad to his post-op visit on Thursday to get his stitches out.

Happy Meezer Monday every kitty!

We just can't help to close to the birdy, can we?
How about a nice "brunch" date, birdy? Wahahahaha~~~~

I am glad your daddy is better a little bit, right now he needs you both strength to help him recover, and I am sure it won't take too much time~!!!!
Meanwhile, my sincere pray and purr to your dad is always here!

We are glad to hear that your dad is healing, Tara. We are very impressed that you are allowed out without your lead! We always have the leads attached to our harnesses.

Every once in a while, Mom will let us out without our leash, but it is no fun because she won't let us move from where she sets us down. It is better to be on our leash so we can pull her apart. We are glad to hear that your dad is feeling better.

I think ice cream would help your Dad feel better. But you have to make sure it's okay, for quality control and such. ;)

Careful Tara, birds can be big and vicious. We live accross a national park and lately we have sighted a lot of hawks, lady servants says they can't find any preys with all the snow so I better not try to escape, especially Griffin! *shivers*

Glad to hear you dad is up on his hind paws, we wish him the best!

Tara, I caught a bird once, but Steve took it away from me. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Do you "chatter" when you see birds? I do. Please tell your father to get well soon.
