Meezer Monday: Musings, Mousee and Movie

Mom is away. Skeezix is sick. So I've been a little sad and wistful. You realize cute posts and winning contests aren't everything, its the great kitties and their wonderful humans that make the cat blogosphere such a great place. And it is the relationships we make and nuture that get us through the tough times. Get well soon Skeezix, and hurry back Mom, we need you both home!

But hey, I'm a cat, and I can't be wistful all the time, and St Patrick's is just around the corner. So in honor of that, I got out my green mousee to play with. My good friend Jan who lives on the way to our mountain house where the vishus deer are gave it to me when we stopped by on the way home last time. It is soft and has a great smell.

And its green, so it makes a good St Patrick mousee. Too bad the cats couldn't run all the mice out of Ireland, kind of like the snakes. Mom helped me put together a little St Patrick's movie of me and my mousee, so I could get into the mood for the real event.

And I'm sorry if I can't get around to as many bloggies this week as I'd like, its hard to do when Mom is on travel. But we will catch up the end of the week!

I'm worried about Skeezix, too, but you are right. A kitty can't worry all the time. You did a good job hunting that mousie. I was afraid it was going to end up under the refrigerator for a while. I love those bunny kicks.

Pretty Princess, you've got that mousie technique down to perfection! Try not to be lonely because all your kitty friends are nearby, and try not to worry too much about Skeezix because everybody's purrayin & purrayin for him.

Tara

I know your Mom misses you as much as you miss her. It's like that around here too, and I only have to wait until she gets home from work. But, I still miss her.

You look like you will be well prepared for St.Patricks Day this weekend. Green looks very good against your booteefull furs.

We have a green mousie, too!!! For some reason, it is the only color that isn't lost under the dryer...Don't know why...

My green mouse is missing his tail now, because I bit it off. You are an excellent huntress. That video was excellent.

Congratulations! You got a 100% on the PoP Kwiz!!! Very good Tara!

Yea, most of da Forty Paws won't get up early when Maw or Paw have to either. They're like, "What? It's not morning yet!"

I just tried to catch your mouse on the computer screen. The Lap Lady grabbed my paw before I could touch the screen. It looks so FUN!!

Great movie and music, Tara. We were sure that the green mousie was going to get lost under the refrigerator, but you were too clever for that!

We're sorry that you're going to miss your Mommy, but we ordered good weather for her visit to DC this time.
