Mom is taking the train to New York tonight. She told me she is picking up Latte at the 30th street station to show him Central Park! I'm so jealous! But I'm glad I didn't have to go on one of those planes. I hope Latte likes trains......
I'm a five year old royal, elegant, sultry, sexy, seal point ladycat meezer. Somewhat aloof, I can get Mom and Dad to do my bidding by periodically providing affection and attention. I tolerate my little brother Kavan. This is where we live...

Washington is beautiful. Mommy's been there a few times and she loved it. I wouldn't love having to take the plane to get there so I think I'll stay here and enjoy it through your Mommy's pictures.
Guess what? Mommy and Daddy are supposed to go get the meezer kitten on Saturday!
Wow those plains can be very loud and scary so close down
I'm near DC, if you ever want to teleport over (with your little brother) we can go get some crabbies to eat!
ooo, we gots doze glowing bugs here too! Dey lite up all over our back yard. And we live by a little airport and sometimes planes and blimps and hell-coptors fly rite over our howse!
Wow, that is cool Tara. I hope your mom is having a good trip!
I do like trains!! But I'm really excited to see Central Park!

Did you see my mom?? Huh?? She lives in Alexandria along with the rest of my feline family. I miss her sometimes.

Those are some great pictures your Mom is sharing with us. Hope she has a safe and pleasant trip.

wow! that's near where my mom is from. She grew up in Fairfax. She and daddy go there to that park to watch the airplanes a lot. And I mean, A LOT. Dad loves it there. I don't think I would like it AT ALL.
Can't wait to see photos from New York. Mom used to drive up to New York all the time just for fun. She doesn't know where all the good cat clothes stores are though back there because that was before she had us.
Purrs, Kat3 (and Sara and Bogdan, too)
We used to live outside DC and there are some very wonderful sights there (and many planes, too!).
oh that looks really cool Tara! So when your mummy be home and not off galavanting with Latte? Hmm? xx
our Lady really misses the glowing bugs. she says she wishes there were some out here. actually, we do too. they sound cool! we live across the street from a small airport, so we get planes flying low over us like that too, but much smaller ones. we've never seen a train though. it sounds exciting!
I'd hide in the bushes, too! Those planes are furry scary ... an' LOUD!

That looks like a scary place for cats! I hope there are no vishus deeers there!
I hope your mom comes home soon. I can't believe she could still leave after you both gave her THAT look! My OTW almost cries when we give her that look.
Oh I am so excited that your Momma gets to see Latte!
Tara, our mom thinks that Gravelly Point is a scary place where it looks like the planes are going to come right at you. And it's so LOUD! Not a good place for kitties. The Mount Vernon bike path is a great place, but Mom finds it too popular and crowded now. The GW Parkway is a beautiful drive, and Mom and Dad love Old Town Alexandria. It even bills itself as the "Fun Side of the Potomac."
We're glad that your mom is safely with you and Kavan now.
