Can you believe it? Kavan and I were enjoying a nice Saturday afternoon in the back yard, when a nose poked through a knot hole!
We glared at it for a while, trying to determine who it was.
Then I took matters into my own paws.
It was one of the formerly ferals that used to spend some time in our back yard. The neighbor behind the fence adopted the little girl. We all played paws for a while. It was fun. But later that night, I was out on my lead with Mom, and she tried to come into the back yard. That I just couldn't allow, and chased her and pulled my lead all the way out and got to her before Mom could react. Over the fence she went. Like I said, I rule the yard.

Nice job protecting your yard, Tara. it is very nice that your neighbour adopted the formerly feral little girl, but too bad that she lets her run free.
that is very good job that you done rule the yard~!!! I like seeing you doing it.
We hates it when any cats comes in our yard. We run from window to window, growling n hissing, scaring off the stranger. You are doing the right thing!

You are a very good yard guard, Tara. I kinda like it when other kitties come by to hunt, but Izzy and Rowey chase them away. They don't like to share the yard either.
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
Good job, Tara. That cat should not have gone into your yard. That was wrong.
Good fenses make good naybors. Good thing that you took control to show who rules your yard!
Midnite & Stray Kitty
Good job, because if you give her an inch she'll take over the whole yard in no time! Keep those bounds clear.
You did the right thing Tara. You must protect your territory!
Good job defending your yard, Tara.

Hi Tara, and Kavan!
We'z finks it's greatz that they tookz her to lives with themz. Althoughz why would youz let herz run lose outsidez? I finkz that youz did a very good jobbie protecting your yard. A meezer girl has to put the meezer law paw down sometime.
Purss..Siamia
Oh Tara, it is good to just reach in and get it over with, find out, take care of matters and get it done and done.
oooh you defended your pad well! i hope the little scamp has no further ideas about trespassing into Meezer territory!
Tara, I don't blame you at all...I would have hissed and chased da kitty cat myself!!

The Big Thing builded a way high wall all round our back yard to keep wandering mea woofies out. We do our part to keep wandering mean kitties out.
In 12 years, no woofie has gotten in and the few mean strange kitties have "run like mouseies" when we see them and run after them.
I run at that staight on all poofed and LC does her bouncing "tiger" thing at them. They can't stand up to US.
They know this is OUR place and NOT theirs.
Skeeter and LC
Oh Dear! Whut if that cat pulled you right thru da fence?! Careful!
My, look how big Kavan is!!
Good job protecting your yard, Tara. I assume Kavan is acting as your assistant.
