After spending all day at the V-E-T, Kavan is back home! While I confess it was nice to have a break from him, I'm glad to see him home in one piece. The V-E-T ran several x-rays and a giardia test and failed to find anything. They stole some of his blood to send off for a full panel, and Mom will get those results tomorrow. After giving the V-E-T lots of green papers, Mom brought him home with some Metranidazole to give him for his squirts. Hopefully, something on that feather just gave him a temporary upset tummy.Thank you everyone for all your purrs and positive thoughts, they seemed to have done the trick!
There is nothing like sleeping next to Daddy's stinky shoes after a rough day!

Glad he's home, but poor little guy. Haffing an upset tummy is horribul, fur effuryone.
Yay! What fabyoolus newsies about Kavan! I hope he's back to 100% furry soon! And Brainball feels fur him, havin' to take Metranidazole -- that's one of the meds Brainball's been takin' and he'll be finishing it up tomorrow!

What a relief that Kavan is feelin' better. The squirts sure do suck. I know how bad Cocoa Puff feels when his lower G.I. is in a tailspin.
Oh, an' stinky shoes ('specially those Birkenstocks) are the best for naps an' sniffin'!

Yippee! Da little brat, um...brother...probably ate something he wasn't supposed to. One time Mommakitty gotted a lecture from da V-E-T about house cleaners used on da floor and counters (even if it's already dried) - 'cause us cats will lick anything off our paws! I also used to lick / eat anything left on da dishes in da sink. I finks that's how I gotted da squirts once.

I am glad I missed yesterday's post and find out now that everything seems o.k.!!!
Some days after Mrs. OZ came she started vomiting and vomiting and then having diarrhea and it just wouldn't stop! So the staff took ALL the food away and the vomiting got better. But it took about 36 hours before she was kind of normal again!
Kavan probably just had problems "passing a feather" - now that could become an expression, right???
I'm glad to hear the vet didn't find anything wrong with Kavan. I hope he feels better soon. Sending healing purrs his way.
