It's so good to be home. We love the mountain house, but we love home too. The trip home went better. I, as usual, was really good. I talked and complained a bit early on, but settled into my seat between Mom and Dad, and just had a conversation every so often, you know, to ask if we were there yet. Poor Kavan clearly gets car sick. It might be because of the ear infection and ruptured ear drum he had as a young kitten. Anyway, he slept most of the way on Mom's lap, but did make a trip to the BIGGER litter box ON THE BACK SEAT, to yack and poop at least once. But at least he didn't make a mess this time. I felt so sorry for him I licked his head a few times. Then I felt like grooming Mom, and licked her eye lid. I'm sure she liked that.When we got home, I crashed upstairs on my balcony in my Millie bed, and Kavan crashed in front of the fire place. I over heard Mom and Dad at dinner time:
Dad: So much for big man cat, I know how to put him in his place
Mom: Poor thing, it certainly knocks him out
Dad: Yeah, must be hard on his ego
Mom: Ego? Do man cats really have an ego?
Dad: Are you kidding? You think all that strut is for nothing?
Mom: And then he had to put up with Tara feeling sorry for him and licking his head
Dad: Maybe he will feel a bit wimpy for a while and be nice to Tara
Mom: Don't count on it

We think mancat's must haf more sensitif tummy's den us womencats. Speedy ate a bug and spent an hour barfing all over. Happens every time.
When I used to travel with Mom,I always was happy to be home too.Everything is familiar and it feels safe.Home is Home!!

Phew! Glad to hear your Mom closed the screen after pikshur taking. That's an awful BIG fire after all.

Kavan, don't feel bad buddy. I cannot ride in the metal monster wifout being in the big PTU wif Sammy. If i'm not wif him, then I yak, and pee and poot alot. Mommy thinks that I might need a sedative to travel. - Miles

I think it would be neat if My Lady would take me on a trip with her. She says that not many places let cats, though. I wish we had a mountain house. :(.

Kavan, it's okay to yak and poop when the humans put you in the car thing. I'd yak & poop too when my mom puts me in the Jeep ... if I weren't so busy getting flat & trembly trying to squish down in the seat and disappear!

hehehe, hmmmm, I kinda think we mancats have more sensitiv tummies, too! But me and Brainball are furry diffrent about travelin - I don't mind traveling too much, but Brainball gets all fuzzed up and yowls and poos and pees inna PTU.
