Tin Whistle Tuesday

Dad was practicing his tin whistle the other night. It sounded like an some poor creature was getting tortured! I was convinced that I needed to call animal control.

I couldn't take the noise any more, so I hid in my tube.

Then I gave Dad the laser eye to try to get him to stop. He laughed at me.

I usually like his whistle playing, but he usually plays a bigger one that sounds lower. There is a reason they call that little one a TIN whistle!

Good thing I wasn't there. I would have had to give your dad a good thumping. I always thump DKM when she sings or the music is too loud. ~Fiona Bun

Sorry to hear that the whistle was hurting your ears, Tara. High-pitched sounds hurt my ears too.

I've got a tin whistle, learning to play it is hard! My cats also don't like the sound (yet?). I've found a great tutor on YouTube, who posts beginners lessons over there.

Those tin whistles can be hard on our frootbat ears.
Maybe you should sing along. we do that when mommie plays the piano. Sometimes we sing so loud that she has to stop playing!

Don't they know how that affects our sensitive ears? I'm sorry you had to hide from him. How rude of him not to play the one you like!

I do not think I would like a whistle. I bet I would hide. Momma had a cat who would bite her when she made sounds she didn't like.

Did you try putting your paws over your ears? That probably would have let him know you wanted him to STOP!

I hope no animal was injured! You should have given the bitey till it stopped! My servants have been "busy" lately and have only been able to attend to my immediate needs and have not had the chance to help me blog. Hopefully they learn to manage their time better soon.

Lots of purrrs (especially for you Kavan)

I would have hid, too! High frequency noises tend to bug me out.
