Friday with Dad
We are spending the day snuggling with Dad. He looks like he got run over by a train. Or lost a major fist fight. Even though he looks pretty bad, the surgery yesterday went well. They took a cancer spot off his nose and one off his ear. Unfortunately, both were so big they needed to take some skin from his neck to fix his ear, and skin from his cheek to fix his nose. But once it heals, he should be good as new. But right now, hmmmm......, won't be winning any beauty contests any time soon. Too bad he won't let us post a picture. But his lungs did fine, and Mom gets to take off his dressings today and clean him up. Mom was afraid we might not recognize him when he got home, or he might smell funny. But we knew it was Dad all along.

I am very happy for your daddy's surgery went well, this is a very difficult time, but right now all your daddy have to do is recover, and I am sure he will. He is very brave, so is your mommy, we will all support our encourage to him to go through this!!
AND , Such a lovely adorable and nice kids like you, I am sure you both will know your daddy when he is back, because you both are very understanding and tenderness, I am sure it will be fine.

I'm glad to hear your dad is doing well after his surgery, even if he does look a bit like Frankenstein's Monster. Isn't it funny how we always know our humans when they come back, no matter how different they smell?

Headbutts coming your Daddy's way. My granddaddy, momma beans father had to have cancer removed from his cheek. Momma bean drove him to the hospital and got to stay with him during the purcedure. After seeing the amount of cheek they had to remove, she though her daddy would forever look deformed. But that wasn't the case! Even though he looked bad for a while after the surgery, he healed up very nicely, so nicely in fact that its hard to tell that anything was ever done!!!
We hope the same holds true for your daddy as well!
That's so good everything went well! Both momma's granddaddy and an uncle had cancers on their face removed too. Great graddaddy bean had to do the skin graft thingy. He liked to show it off hehe. Purrrs & purrrs he will fill all back to normal soon! ~Queen Snickers
Beans are so funny thinking we won't recognize them!! We are very glad that your daddy is home and recovering nicely! Keep snuggling with him so he'll feel better! We will purr lots and lots so he'll get better quicker!!!!

Thanks for coming by and seeing me. I am better now but the vet says that I haven't quite recovered yet because the tests are still abnormal. That means more tests next week. *sigh*
