Here is Kavan...
Kavan is raising his paw for The Nature Conservancy. The Nature Conservancy's mission is to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive. They use a science-based design to identity high-priority places that if conserved, promise to ensure biodiversity over the long term. Then, they work to outright purchase or obtain conservation easements to protect these wonderful places.
And here I am...
I'm raising my paw for the American Cancer Society. Cancer runs very deep in my Mom's mom's side of the family. She has lost several aunts and uncles, as well as both grand parents, to this terrible disease. The aunt she went to Hawaii with (herself a cancer survivor) helps organize the local American Cancer Society walk-a-thon every year. Mom has participated a few times.
